When we visited Roatan in 2014 and 2017, we stayed at the Turquoise Bay Dive and Beach Resort both times. The resort is all-inclusive, except for alcohol. The food was wonderful, with options at each meal, and with great food choices. The drinks are tasty.
The common areas (restaurant, bar area, pool, and private beach) were kept in immaculate and comfortable condition.
And all of the staff, from check-in to housekeeping, food and drink staff, to dive shop and boat staff, was friendly and helpful. They made the trip extra-fun and were so kind.
On the first trip, we stayed in the Hillside rooms, which were close to the pool and the dive shop. They had a combined balcony and a view of the sea. On our second trip, we stayed in the Ocean View rooms, which are at the top of the hill. There are quite a lot of stairs, but the views of both the ocean as well as fields where animals graze, and the mountains.
