My name is Tana Henry, and I’ve been traveling since 2002. Growing up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, my family didn’t travel internationally at all, although we did explore locations closer to home and travel for drag races. When I went to college, I was fortunate enough to participate in travel sponsored by the Farber Fund at The University of South Dakota, and I caught the travel bug. And though I live in rural Nebraska, now I still enjoy traveling, perhaps even more so.
I am married to a wonderful husband, Mike, who is willing to join me on my adventures. We have a dog named Exley, and a cat named Mera, although they mostly stay home unless we’re road-tripping to see family.
About this Site
When I travel, I love to do research about the places I’m visiting before the trip. My hope is that this site can offer tips that will make your trip a success. Whether it be packing suggestions, restaurants and attractions to visit, scuba diving information, or tips to save while traveling, I hope that you’ll find information and enjoyment from visiting my site. And as an added bonus, this site is an opportunity for me to document and remember the locations I’m fortunate enough to visit.
I am also an avid reader, both at home and while I’m on a trip. While traveling, I read while waiting in the airport, riding in the car on a road trip, flying, or relaxing on the beach or by the pool. So I’ll also be providing you with my book lists each month to inspire your reading too.
