Roatan is an island in Honduras, about 65 miles from the mainland. The island is approximately 32 square miles. It is fairly quick to get to Roatan from the US, with several direct flights there.
Mike and I have visited twice, in 2014 and 2017; and this island is probably one of our favorite places in the world. The diving is exquisite, probably the best in the Caribbean. The island is quite mountainous, and is very lush and green. And there is quite a bit to do.
