This is the twenty-fifth installment in my weekly series, called the Friday Five. In this series, I’ll tell you about five random things that I love, whether they be books, travel, music, movies…or whatever. So without further ado, 3-31-2017’s Friday Five!
–Homeland. I’ve been a fan of this Showtime series pretty much since it came out. So I had to pay for a month (or two!) of Showtime, because I didn’t want to wait any longer to start Season 6. And it sure hasn’t disappointed!
–Missing Richard Simmons. I really, really liked this podcast…right up to the last episode which sort of fizzled out. But what can you expect? If they don’t find any sinister or sensational explanations for Richard Simmons’s longstanding absence, they don’t. In any event it was an interesting look at a fascinating man.
–Roatan 2017. Heartland Scuba Center put together a video from our recent trip to Roatan. The video, the editing, the music, it’s all excellent.
–Iceland. I’ve seen great flight deals to Iceland lately. I’ve got Iceland on the mind. If you do too, here’s a new wonder to add to your list of places to visit in Iceland.
–Humpback Whale Supergroups. I found this article recently about how humpback whales are gathering in record numbers. Scientists don’t know why they’re doing it, or why they weren’t previously. Mysterious.
